Short answer

Oran is revenue leak analytics for online stores. It compares your checkout funnel with published Shopify benchmarks, puts a monthly dollar figure on each gap and measures whether your fixes worked. Oran is made by Eren Menteşe in Istanbul and sold in US dollars to e-commerce stores, with Shopify first.

Today you enter your funnel numbers by hand or as a CSV file. Live GA4 and Shopify connections are not available yet.

What Oran does

Most stores already have the numbers that show where shoppers drop out. What they lack is a clear answer: where is it leaking, what is it worth and did the fix work? Oran works in three steps.

  1. Add your funnel counts. Thirty days of sessions, add-to-carts, checkouts and purchases by device, plus revenue. Product views and payment info are optional. Setup takes about 10 minutes.
  2. See every leak in dollars. Oran compares three funnel stages with published Shopify benchmarks: session to cart, cart to checkout and checkout to order. It prices each gap per month and ranks the gaps by impact, confidence and effort.
  3. Fix, then prove it. You track the fixes you ship. Oran books a win in the gains ledger only when the lift is statistically significant.

A gap counts as a leak only when your own data shows it is more than noise (a z-score of at least 1.96). Smaller differences appear as steps to watch. If you also enter your store's order count, Oran checks how many of those orders GA4 captured. When GA4 misses a large share, Oran lowers the confidence of the leaks it found.

To see the idea on your own numbers first, use the free Checkout Leak Calculator. It runs in your browser, and nothing you enter is sent anywhere or stored. The full product is on the home page.

Who makes Oran

Oran is made and operated by Eren Menteşe, the founder, in Istanbul. He is the provider named in the Terms of Service and the data controller named in the Privacy Policy. The terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Orders are sold through Paddle.com, Oran's reseller and Merchant of Record. If you write to Oran, you write to him.

What data Oran uses

Oran works from aggregate numbers: funnel counts and revenue totals. It also stores your store name, URL and platform, your answers to the site checks and the actions you track. It does not use customer names, emails or card data. Nothing is installed on your site.

What Oran cannot do yet Oran has no live connection to GA4, Shopify or BigCommerce. Data is entered by hand or as a CSV, and those connections are marked "Coming soon" in the app. On Growth and Scale you can also type in mobile behavior percentages (rage clicks, dead clicks, quick backs, JavaScript errors) from your own Microsoft Clarity dashboard. That is manual too, not an API link.

Where your data lives and who touches it:

  • Database and sign-in: Supabase, hosted in the EU (Frankfurt), with row-level access control so only your account can see your stores.
  • Other processors: Vercel for hosting, Anthropic to generate text for AI features, Paddle for payments and Google Analytics 4 for usage statistics. Some of them process data outside your country, including in the United States. The Privacy Policy lists each one.
  • AI features: they send the relevant parts of your analysis to an AI provider. AI output can be wrong, so review it before you act on it.
  • Your control: export everything as a file, or ask for your account to be deleted. Oran does not sell personal data and uses no advertising trackers.

How benchmarks are sourced

Oran's benchmarks today are Littledata's published Shopify benchmarks: medians of GA4 data from more than 400 Shopify stores, split by device and category. Littledata states its sample, date range and exclusion rules on that page, and publishes a sector or device figure only when at least 30 stores contribute. The median is the headline because a few very large stores can skew an average.

How Oran's benchmark layer works
QuestionAnswer
Source todayLittledata's published Shopify medians (GA4), by device and category
Stretch targetThe top 20% of stores, shown next to the median where Littledata publishes it
Published directlySession to cart and checkout to order
Derived, so approximateCart to checkout, calculated from cart abandonment and checkout completion
Device and category togetherNot published, so Oran scales the device median to the category
Categories with no dataElectronics has no published category figures yet, so Oran uses all-store medians
Oran's own networkAnonymized and opt-in. Once 30 stores in a category contribute, their trimmed average replaces Littledata for that category. A store never counts toward its own comparison

Sharing to Oran's network is off by default. If you turn it on, only your category and conversion rates are shared, never your brand, revenue or order counts. You can turn it off any time in Settings, which also removes what you contributed.

Benchmark figures change when Littledata refreshes them, so Oran does not print them on this page. Each benchmark page shows its figures with a source and a date: add-to-cart rate, checkout completion rate and cart abandonment rate.

How billing works

Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record and reseller for every Oran order. Paddle's own documentation defines the term as a legal entity responsible for selling to the end customer, one that takes on liabilities such as collecting sales tax. For Oran customers that means Paddle processes the payment, calculates and collects tax, issues the invoice and handles billing inquiries and returns.

  • Trial: every account starts with a 14-day Growth trial. No credit card is required. When it ends, the account pauses until you choose a plan, and your data is saved.
  • Plans: Starter, Growth and Scale, priced in US dollars before applicable tax. See the pricing section for current prices.
  • Changes: cancel any time from Billing in the app. Access continues to the end of the paid period. Upgrades and downgrades take effect at once and are prorated.
  • Refunds: a full refund within 14 days of your first payment and of any renewal. See the Refund Policy and the Terms.

Oran never receives your full card details. From Paddle, Oran receives your subscription status, plan and a customer ID.

Design partner program

Oran's design partner program is for its first 10 e-commerce brands. Design partners get the Growth plan free for 90 days, a monthly review call with the founder, early access to live GA4 sync and a say in the roadmap. In return, Oran asks for your monthly funnel data and the result of each fix you ship.

Apply with the form on the home page. It asks for your store URL, platform, monthly online revenue band, name, work email and role. Applications get a reply within two business days.

What data does Oran use?
Aggregate funnel counts and revenue totals that you type in or paste as CSV, such as sessions, add-to-carts, checkouts and purchases by device. It does not use customer names, emails or card data, and nothing is installed on your site. Live GA4 and Shopify connections are not available yet.
Where do Oran's benchmarks come from?
Today they come from Littledata's published Shopify benchmarks, which are medians of GA4 data from more than 400 Shopify stores by device and category.
